Our Story

 Hi, I’m Katy, the creator behind Simply, Katy. My journey into the world of art started with a love for travel and architecture—two things that have always captured my imagination and creativity. From exploring vibrant cities to marveling at the intricate details of historical landmarks, these inspirations naturally found their way into my work.

In 2020, while on furlough from my job, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my passion into something more. That’s when Simply, Katy was born. My mission is simple: to create art that brings joy, sparks inspiration, and allows you to bring a piece of the world into your home.

My creative process begins with a moodboard, where I gather a collection of images to focus my mind on the style I want to create. From there, I sketch on my iPad using Procreate, and then comes my favorite part—adding color and intricate details. I’m known for bringing my designs to life with tiny, thoughtful elements that make each piece unique.
